The Multi-Cam Dashboard is a companion app for monitoring and controlling cameras. It is a web app built into the RCP, opened from a browser on your computer.

  • Monitoring view: shows all cameras in a grid with their most important parameters
  • Control panel view: opens a detailed control panel for a single camera with access to all parameters

Getting Started

  1. Starting with release 26.2.1rc1, the Multi-Cam Dashboard is disabled by default. First enable it by clicking Enable under Admin in the device's Web UI (http://[device-ip])
  2. Open http://[device-ip]:4000 in a browser, or click the Multi-Cam Dashboard link in the Web UI navigation bar
  3. Add cameras in the settings and arrange the layout

For detailed steps, see "Overview & Initial Setup" in the Multi-Cam Dashboard Manual.

:::tip Difference from CyanView Studio The desktop app CyanView Studio, installed on a computer, also has a dashboard for controlling multiple RCPs and RIOs together. The Multi-Cam Dashboard is a web app built into the RCP, so you can use it from a browser without installing any software. :::
