Setup​

Camera setup on the RIO is exactly the same as on the RCP.

First open the RIO's configuration page (web UI) by following "Finding your device's IP address" in IP Configuration. From there, the setup is similar to the RCP web UI. Every integration guide on this site applies to the RCP as well as the RIO.

To link RIO and RCP together into a REMI (remote production) configuration, configure it as follows:

  1. Set up the cameras in RIO's Web UI
  2. Set up tags/groups on RIO
  3. Set up the same tags/groups on RCP
  4. Import the cameras from RIO into RCP

This configuration allows the cameras to be controlled from RCP. REMI is the mechanism by which RCP and RIO are paired and work together. For details on pairing, see REMI.
