The VP4 is an advanced color corrector from Cyanview, ideal for color matching cameras. It features secondary color correction such as a multi-matrix, and other controls only found in CCUs (camera control units), such as detail and coring. All channels can be controlled directly from the RCP.

When to Use It

When a camera lacks sufficient color adjustment, or when you need to match cameras of different models, pass the camera's SDI video through the VP4 to correct its color. Camera control and VP4 color correction can be operated together as a single camera on the RCP.

Getting Started

1. Check what you need: an Ethernet connection to the RCP, 3G-SDI cables with DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors for the 4 video channels and reference, and a computer for configuration (see Prerequisites)
2. Connect the RCP, VP4, and computer to the same switch, wire the video, and power on (see Connection)
3. In the RCP's Web UI, configure a VP4 channel on its own or combined with camera control (see Configuration)
